BioPong: Adaptive Gaming Using Biofeedback

With the abundant availability of sensors in our lives, including those on our bodies, gameplay is being taken to the next level. Emmen & Lampropoulos study the possibilities to use physiological data, such as heartbeat and galvanic skin response, to adapt game attributes for the individual user’s present state. They argue that this kind of data can be used to assist gamers during gameplay.
